New Release!

There are some exciting things happening at Molly Stamps! First of all……we finally have our new release ready to go! “Out Of This World” is now available!
There is also another set on the way, hopefully by the end of May! Keep checking in and we’ll update you as the news unfolds! And coming soon thereafter…..our first go at some RUBBER STAMPS! (This is all I will say about that, for now….but I’m very much looking forward to getting my hands on these!)
And what could be more exciting than a new release? Well, how about a new release to our family? We are having baby number 2! Currently the bun is in the oven, baking at 98.6 degrees until Oct. 8th. Aaaaand it’s a boy!

New Design Team Member

I am so thrilled to announce the newest member to our insane design team world. We have recruited Lynn Mercurio of Stamperosity! How did we get her, you ask? It involved a very intricate plan devised at CHA to drug her up with craft glue, and when she was completely buzzed during a make and take, floating on cloud nine, adding an embellishment to a journal she was making, we asked for her autograph. Little did she know that the autograph was actually a signature for a ten year commitment to the Molly Stamps design team requiring her to make 7 cards a week and host trunk shows around the world using our stamps. Currently, she is fighting this contract in court, but we feel confident that we “have her”, and look forward to the wonderful creations she makes. WELCOME to the Molly Stamps team, Lynn!
And with this new recruit comes news of an “escape” from Molly Stamps. Apparently Erika Martin was able to chew through her shackles that bound her to the Molly Stamps design team table, located in our dungeon….I mean basement. We will miss you Erika, unless one of my Molly Stamps Recovery Agents finds you, then you will have some ‘catch up’ to do.
Good-bye Erika Martin….for now…..you will be missed.

CHA show in Anaheim

Wow! That is pretty much how I sum up my first journey to the CHA convention in Anaheim. I am overwhelmed, overloaded, and still processing all that I saw!
The funnest part of this whole experience was getting to meet some of the gals on my DT, and also meeting some FANTASTIC people! Here’s a photo of all of us at dinner. Can you spot me? I’m the dude surrounded by a bunch of insane crafters! LOL!

Welcome to the new DT members, and hello to THREE new sets!

I am sooooo very excited to announce that we have two AMAZING stampers joining the Molly Stamps Design Team. A VERY BIG WELCOME to Wendy Price and Kim Burmeister! Their work is absolutely fantastic, and I am filled with anticipation to see what kind of things they come up with, using our sets! I can’t say enough about the level of work they do, so please check out their blogs by clicking the links in here, or on the sidebar, and you will see, firsthand, how AWESOME they are!!

Design Team Call and a new tutorial!

We are currently looking for TWO fantastic designers to add to our team!

Send us an email at dtcall@mollystamps.com. In the email include; THREE cards/projects that showcase your style, the reason you would like to join our team, and your blog address.
The deadline for submissions will be October 20th. We will shut down the submissions at 5pm on the 20th. The two new designers will be chosen 4 days later on Friday, October 24th at 5pm.

Molly’s Closet: a Project by Adela Rossol

This has got to be one of my most favorite projects that I’ve seen lately. Adela Rossol, our Designamaniac, has created a really fun tin, titled “Molly’s Closet”. It’s filled with magnetic cutouts of our “Paper Dolls” set. This is a GREAT gift idea for your daughters to keep them occupied in church, or on road trips, or to just have fun playing dress up! The “Molly’s Closet” lettering was done using our “Quirky Alphabet” set.
What an awesome project Adela! You truly are a designamaniac!

Three New Sets and some “mock”tastic news!

This is very exciting! I have been excited about releasing these stamps for over a month now! And the time has come! I’m releasing three new sets: “Today’s Forecast”, “Paper Dolls”, and “Quirky Alphabet”.
Here’s a taste of these sets in action!
Diana Gibbs showcases the “Today’s Forecast” stamp set with the Tim Holtz spinners (which, for a limited time, come free with your purchase of the “Today’s Forecast” stamp set.
Susanna Boyd made this beautiful card using one of the many dolls that can be made with the “Paper Dolls” set.
Once again, Susanna Boyd proves to us how creative she is with this card using the “Quirky Alphabet” set. For a limited time, this 6×8 set comes with a free Palette Hybrid ink pad (Noir Black)
